For the week of November 28, 2011

Dear Parents,

Grade 2 will begin counting coins up to $1.00 . This concept can be difficult and extra practice at home can be helpful.

If your child wears boots, please be sure they have something to change into. Slippers may stay at school if you like, however they will still need sneakers for gym.

We have drawn names for the Christmas gift exchange.

The Parent Teacher Group needs wrapping supplies for the Christmas Sale. If you have anything to donate, you can send it in any time. They are also looking for parents to help on that day.

For the week of November 7, 2011

Dear Parents,

         This week will be short because of conferences, two early release days, and the Veteran's Day holiday. We will have Reading and Spelling assessments on Thursday.

The Book Fair is this week. We will view on Monday and buy on Tuesday.

Please be sure your child has something for their head and hands. The morning recess can be quite cold. I have some things for emergencies, but students should come prepared for the weather.

“Can Do Monday” Help us support the local food bank.

We will have a Math test.

We will view the great choices at the Book Fair.

The Parent Teacher Group meeting will be at 6:00 tonight.

Tuesday

Grades 3-5 will have a bake sale at lunch. All items are $.50.

We will have time to buy at the Book Fair.

Left over bake sale items will sell for $.25.
