PEEK at the Week of ~ October 3 – 7

Read-Athon money is due in this week. I received only a few of the sponsor sheets – I am in hopes the others were at home. It is the only way we are able to build our school library. If you did not do the sponsor sheet maybe you can make a contribution to the Read-Athon. I would like to have 100% participation.

We had a great first PTSG meeting. If you did not make, it please try to make our next meeting on Oct. 18^th . We are seriously looking at adding new playground equipment and fixing our Nature Trail system. We need lots of faces to help.

Friday I will send home Progress reports. If you wish to meet to discuss your child's progress please call or e-mail me.

As I stated last week, we will begin NECAP testing this week. It is important your child be here everyday – on time and well-rested.

MONDAY
We will begin our testing today. We will be doing the reading Session 1 today.
Ms. Sullivan will be here for Music this afternoon.
TUESDAY
Library Day ~ Pack your books.
There will be an “Bus Safety” program this morning at 8:30.
We will do our Reading test – Session 2 today.
There will be a K-2 FOOD BAKE SALE today after lunch. All items are $.50.

WEDNESDAY
We will finish up our Reading NECAPs. Session 3 today.
Our reading story is Rugsby and Rosie.
Mr. Elliot will be here for P.E.

THURSDAY
We will begin the Math NECAPs with Session 1 today.
We have begun our cursive writing.

FRIDAY
Book Orders are due today. (I did have online orders last time and it went super smooth!)
NECAP Math Session 2 this morning.

REMINDER: There is no school on Monday due to Columbus Day and on Tuesday there is a county wide Teacher Workshop. Enjoy the end
