On Friday, October 11th, a small group of students volunteered at Healthy Acadia's annual Turkey-A-Thon. Hope Melton, Anyelis Perez Padilla, Sadie Morse and Linda Alley baked homemade carrot cupcakes from gleaned carrots and brought them as treats for folks who were volunteering @ 4 Corners Market in Columbia. These NHS students were part of a team that helped to raise more than $1,000.00 for people in need.
