A Letter From Mrs. Meserve

Dear Harrington Elementary School Families,

We have just completed our fifth week of school and learning is going well!  The school year is going by quickly!  Your children are doing well adjusting to our school pandemic guidelines.  They continue to learn and play each day.  I am thrilled each time one of our remote learners returns to the classroom.  I am very proud of each and every one of our students.

We are very happy to be back in school and ready for a productive school year.  I wanted to address what we are prepared to do in the event our school had to go fully remote for some reason. This would be announced on our school website (www.msad37.me), on the Harrington Elementary School PTSG Facebook page, and a notice would also go out on the Remind system as well.  Teachers would then reach out to their class to start remote instruction for all students. Your child/children have district emails and are able to login to Google Classrooms and Google Meet. They all have logins to our IXL.com program.  I truly hope this doesn’t happen, but I wanted to assure you that we have a fully remote learning plan ready should we need it.

In closing, I want to thank you all for your support and understanding as we work together to give your child/children the best learning experiences possible during this uncertain time.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me or the teachers with any questions or concerns.  Together, we will be Harrington Strong!

Sincerely,

Susan V. Meserve - Principal
