These kids do a lemonade stand every summer for the fishermen at Perry’s Wharf but this year they’re opening it to the whole community in hopes of raising money for their teacher, Jeff Chick.
Mr. Chick teaches Science and Social studies at Harrington Elementary for grades 4-6. He’s also a beloved basketball coach who’s not easily forgotten for his shouts of “Who Wants it?!” and “Chaos!!” 😂 Jeff sustained a spinal cord injury several months ago and has just recently been discharged from Bangor and relocated to Spaulding Rehab in Boston. Our community has been through SO MUCH the last several months but we’ve got to keep showing up for one of our own. These kids are excited and hopeful about helping Mr. Chick.
